Lovecraft’s Providence

The life and work of Providence’s best known fantasy and horror author, H.P. Lovecraft, provide the setting for this tour. Many 18th and 19th century properties near the Brown campus haunted Lovecraft’s stories and his life. Step inside a fascinating mind and a fascinating world on this walk.

Historic College Hill
$15/person (includes admission to all historic sites)
Walking the most historic streets in the university neighborhood and visiting two Registered National Historic Landmarks – the elegant John Brown House Museum (1778) and the First Baptist Church in America (1774-5) – are the highlights of this afternoon tour.
