Going to WorkTwentieth Century Settlers in the Blackstone ValleyThank you so much for joining us in Going to Work. The following unit plans were created by Rhode Island and Massachusetts teachers. Their names and schools are included on each unit so that credit goes where it is deserved. The other place it is deserved is the John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor Commission, for their unflagging support of this program, both financial and otherwise. Thank you very much to the Corridor Commission and to all of those who worked on these units. There is much more work to be done! We also thank the June Rockwell Levy Foundation for funding the Rhode Island Historical Society to hire an education coordinator at the Museum of Work & Culture to help continue these endeavors. |
