Part 1: A Film Viewing and Lecture

Patti Cassidy’s documentary, “Frozen Glory: the Secret Life of War Memorials,” explores the questions: Why do war memorials look as they do? How do we understand the designer’s intent, the foundryman’s art, and the historian’s interpretation of the spirit of the times surrounding each conflict? This program presents an opportunity to both see and hear what Patti has learned and offers for our consideration.
