Provenance:

The 1764 Providence volume was a gift of Elisha Dyer in 1883. The Slocum reports were a gift of Arthur A. Wood in 1910. The two Providence scrapbooks were a gift of Thomas E. Greene in 1992. The Potter Hill money order book was purchased in 2001 from Frederick Lorenson. No accession record could be found for the four Providence volumes dated 1863-1878, but they were apparently cataloged by curator Nat Shipton before 1979.
