What: Presentation by Wright’s Dairy Farm [FREE EVENT]

Where: The Museum of Work & Culture, 42 S. Main St., Woonsocket, R.I.

The Museum of Work & Culture will offer the fourth installment of its free Valley Talks series on Sunday, February 26, at 1:30pm.

Ellen (Wright) Puccetti, Elizabeth (Wright) Dulude, & Claire (Bissonnette) Wright Boudreault will present the history of Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery, chronicling the growth of the family business, the experience growing up on the farm, and the work that goes into raising cows and making the bakery’s famous pastry.

Learn how this family farm transformed into a Rhode Island institution & sample some chocolate milk and chocolate chip cookies.

Seating is limited to 75 and is first-come, first-served.

March 12: Writer and historical reenactor Paul Bourget explores life in Civil War encampments, detailing issues of transportation, camp set-ups, medicine, military chores, and especially food.

March 19 (rescheduled): Filmmaker Kenneth Proudfoot screens The Amazing Life & Times of Austin T. Levy, with a Q&A to follow.
