The St. Andrew’s Society of Rhode Island’s purpose is to provide educational opportunities for its membership and the general public to participate in programs designed to foster and develop a better understanding of the history, culture, and traditions of Scotland.

The Society endeavors to be the focal point for cultural awareness and re-awakening within not only the Scottish and Rhode Island communities, but also the more general population of the New England states through participation and/or presence at various Highland Festivals or similar events during the year.

In particular, our annual Burn Supper is endorsed by the RI Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission in recognition of its cultural importance. Please enjoy this video prepared for the RI Heritage Month’s Virtual Celebration in 2021.

Upcoming events/programs:  Annual Burns Supper – February 12, 2022 at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, Cranston, RI
