Dancing at Lughnasa at Barker Playhouse

Join the Rhode Island Historical Society on Thursday, September 25 for the Barker Playhouse’s production of Dancing at Lughnasa.

A memory play by Brian Friel, Dancing at Lughnasa, focuses on the Mundy sisters in Ireland during the summer of 1936. The play explores themes of family, love, loss, and the changing world through the sisters’ perspectives.

Prior to the 7:30 p.m. performance, guests will be treated to themed refreshments, including beer & wine and cheese trays, followed by Irish Cream cupcakes during intermission. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $30 with beer & wine and $25 without alcoholic beverages. Tickets are available here.
