The Rhode Island Historical Society and Providence Preservation Society will celebrate the holiday season starting on Saturday, December 5!
First, on December 5, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, the Providence Preservation Society invites guests to “Come Inside!”, a virtual Zoom tour of three historic homes on Benefit Street, beautifully decorated for the holiday season. From December 5 through 12, RIHS will host a decorated door contest along Benefit Street. We encourage people to stroll or drive along Benefit Street to admire and enjoy home fronts done up for the holiday season. The public will be encouraged to vote for their favorite home front during this week. RIHS encourages everyone to socially distance and wear masks in public.
