
Join the John Brown House Museum on Wednesday, April 16, at 2 p.m. as guests step back to the colonial era and learn about life in 18th century Providence. Museum staff members will lead conversations and guide families through this federal-era mansion. Interactive stations and sensory objects offer the opportunity for hands-on learning to help engage kids as they discover what life was like in the 1700s. This program is open to all, but most appropriate for children ages 8-12.
General admission to the John Brown House Museum costs $10 per person, $6 for children ages 10-17, and is free for those 9 and younger; other admission discounts are available. Space is limited to 20 people per tour, advance tickets are recommended. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
