Virtual RI History Day Student Workshop: Making a Historical Argument

Join RI History Day Coordinator Owen Marshall for an online workshop for students interested in participating in the 2026 National History Day Contest on on Wednesday, October 29th at 4pm. October’s workshop will be “Making A Historical Argument,” where students will learn to craft a thesis like a historian and identify reliable sources. This workshop will enable participants to practice crafting a strong thesis, review examples of various thesis qualities, and assist students in identifying reliable sources.
