Summary

Tues – Fri 9:00AM – 1PM (when school groups are scheduled)
Reporting to the JBH Museum Manager
Fall and Spring are the busy season for museum educators and school groups

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

● Working with varying levels of educational groups during visitation to the JBHM.
● Meaningfully and appropriately discuss hard histories with a ranging level of students and visitors.
● Follow lesson plans/interpretive guides to provide our curated programs.
● Provides excellent customer service to a diverse population of visitors.
● Attending training and professional development sessions as needed.
● Present the interpretation and our shared history compassionately and empathetically
● Approach narratives with curiosity and critical thinking, and asking for sources and checking facts with staff regularly.

Qualifications

The salary for this position is $16-$18 per hour.
