Historical Walking Tours of Providence
About Rhode Island Historical Society Walking Tours
Visit the places where history happened through our dynamic and compelling historical walking tours. Our trained guides will lead you through the streets of history supplemented with primary documents and images. Our regular tour season runs from July through October. Most tours run for 90 minutes, and though mainly in Providence, we have been known to explore other locations throughout the state.
See below for details and pricing of our signature tour, Benefit Street: A Mile of History, offered throughout the tour season, and our highly acclaimed special event tours.
