Historical note:
The Moshassuck Felt Company had sales offices in Providence, Chicago and San Francisco. The mill was located at Saylesville, possible in Sayles Bleacheries Plant A. The company manufactured "Graduated Saddle Housing, Saddle Cloths, Gig Pads, Horse Boots, etc." The only clear names associated are those of C. L. Blanding, Superintendent (1888) and A. C. Robbins.

These records apparently were generated by a Moshassuck Felt Mills business office at Saylesville. They deal with stock inventories, bills payable, collections, and include an undated price list. Dates are 1883-1897.
