Scope and content:

This collection includes complete minutes from 1904 to 1958; scrapbooks from 1929-1982; and other records. An additional folder of papers kept by a club member from 1917 to 1939 can be found in the Julia Lippitt Mauran Family Papers.

Provenance:

The scrapbooks and guest register were donated by the club in 1986. One folder on the 1962-1965 endowment drive was donated by Mrs. Philip Batchelder in 1979. The provenance of the remainder of the collection is unknown. That earlier portion ends in 1958, and was cataloged in late 1960s, placing the gift at a point in between. Careful examination of the club scrapbooks might yield additional clues.
