Historical note:

The Monday Morning Music Club was composed entirely of female vocalists, instrumentalists and patrons. It first appears in the Providence city directories in 1922. The club maintained studios in downtown Providence, and also held meetings in the homes of members. It staged several concerts each year, before disbanding in 1968.
