Scope and content:
M. Charles Bakst is an editor at the Providence Journal. This collection consists of some of his files from the political campaigns of 1988, 1990, 1992 and 1994. It includes press releases, editorial articles and notes by Bakst, especially on Gov. Bruce Sundlun, who served from 1990 to 1994.
Provenance:
These papers were donated by Mr. Bakst in 1995. A questionnaire that prospective jurors for the Edward DiPrete trial were requested to complete was donated by Mr. Bakst in September, 1997.
