Join us on Saturday, Sept. 26, for free admission to both the John Brown House Museum and the Museum of Work & Culture.
As a Smithsonian Affiliate, we’re proud to participate in Museum Day Live 2015, a nationwide event produced by Smithsonian Magazine that celebrates the Smithsonian’s open doors and free admission policy! Our “Benefit Street: A Mile of History” walking tour, starting at 11am at the John Brown House Museum (52 Power St.) will also be free on Museum Day Live 2015.
To access your Museum Day Live 2015 pass, be sure to register here.
Museum Day Live 2015 will help launch our “What Cheer Wednesdays,” an experimental program with a pop-up sensibility featuring rotating weekly offerings, as well as chats with curators, docents, and educational staff … all meant to give you a unique look at a day in the life of a museum.
What Cheer Wednesdays, which will also feature free admission at both the Museum of Work & Culture (42 S. Main St., Woonsocket) and the John Brown House Museum, start Sept. 30!
Will you help us spread the word on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter?
