William Barton's service sword

Description

Curved sword blade, green glass grip with partial leather scabbard. Replacement handle grip. Maker's mark: Harvey on both sides of the blade. Belonged to Col. William Barton, who served in the Revolutionary War, it was his service sword, possibly the one seen in his portrait.
