RIHS Announces Upcoming Volunteer Docent Trainings

We’re recruiting enthusiastic and inquisitive history lovers to volunteer as docents and educators at the John Brown House Museum in Providence. Docents serve as tour guides for general visitors, school field trips, and private groups.

Prospective JBHM docents will be required to attend weekly training sessions on Wednesdays, beginning February 7, 2018, through March 28, 2018. Classes will take place from 10am to 1pm. JBHM is located at 52 Power St., Providence, R.I., 02906. Parking is available onsite, just off Charlesfield Street.
