Description | Meet with museum educators as they illustrate and explain Rhode Island’s deep connections to the Transatlantic Slave Trade through a discussion of one specific voyage, The Sally, and a culminating activity called the “Web of Complicity”. The activity aims to show the relationships that stretched from the city to the sea in the global enterprise of the slave trade. The live program is about 60 minutes long with a museum educator and can be done through our organization’s Zoom account or your classroom’s Google Meet account. There is also the option of receiving a two-part pre-recorded version of the program if a live program will not work for your schedule. |
