Virtual Valley Talk: Quebec’s Poutine Love Affair

Virtual Valley Talks, a series of free virtual historical lectures by the Museum of Work & Culture, continues on Wednesday, June 17 at 4pm when Quebec Delegation Cultural, Francophone and Academic Affairs Attache and Québec native Marie-Josée Duquette presents insights into the Province of Québec, as well as the region’s love affair with poutine, a traditional dish of french fries, cheese curds, and gravy.

The event is a lead up to Salute to Summer, a reimagining of the Museum’s annual celebration of French Canadian language and culture, featuring it’s wildly popular Poutine Indulgence, when restaurants from across the state compete to see who makes the best version of the classic dish.

Register to receive an invitation to this Zoom event by emailing mowc@rihs.org.

Duquette is a Culture, Francophone and Academic Affairs Attachée at the Québec Government Office in Boston.  Born and raised in Montreal, she likes to share her favorite places. For the past 10 years, Marie-Josée lives near Boston and she is also the author of the guide “Une Québécoise à Boston”
