
During this presentation, you’ll hear from data and evaluation enthusiast Megan Hamlin-Black, State Librarian for the Rhode Island Department of State, about ways to administer evaluations at your own organization as well as ways to visualize and utilize the data you collect. Megan will share the tools needed to effectively do this work and answer any questions you have about this type of work!
Megan Hamlin-Black is the State Librarian for the Rhode Island Department of State and is responsible for overseeing the state’s legislative library. She is fascinated with data-driven decision making, and has worked on a variety of data-based projects both in graduate school and in her career. She serves on the Consortium of Rhode Island Academic and Research Libraries Board as the vice president/president-elect and is a member-at-large for the Rhode Island Library Association Board. Megan is originally from northern Illinois and holds a Master of Library Information Science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
