Annual Children’s Baking Workshop with Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery

The Museum of Work & Culture will offer its annual Children’s Baking Workshop with Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery this year in a virtual format with curbside pickup bakers kits.

This year’s workshop will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 1pm and will feature an eclair making demonstration and Q&A with Wright’s Bakery pastry chef Paul Dulude, an exclusive pre-recorded behind-the-scenes tour of Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery, as well as an interactive French language matching game, baking bingo, and a discovery map presentation highlighting baking traditions of Rhode Island’s immigrant communities led by Museum educators.

Each participant will receive a chef’s hat, apron, recipe card, pre-printed activity materials, as well as eclair shells, custard, and chocolate icing from Wright’s Bakery so they can follow along with Chef Paul at home. Kits will be available for curbside pickup at the Museum the day before the event.

Tickets are $20 per participant. Space is limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged. Tickets are available for purchase at shopmowc.com.
